Obituary
GRIMA. On November 18, at St Vincent de Paul residence, VIRGINIA, aged 85, wife of late Vincent Grima (Il-1), passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. A cherished mother, she leaves to mourn her loss her beloved sons Joseph and his wife Christine Grima, and Patrick Grima, and daughters Joyce and her husband Charles Pirotta, Carmen widow of Charles Debono, Yvonne and her husband Colin Breeze, Pauline and her husband John Bugeja, and Margaret, widow of Charles Grima, her grandchildren and their partners, and great-grandchildren.
The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence on Wednesday at 1.45 p.m. for Mount Carmel parish church, Gzira, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at Burmarrad Cemetery.
PEROTTI. On November 18, MARY CARMEN, aged 84, formerly of Valletta but residing in Msida, passed away suddenly at St Luke's Hospital. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Remo, her beloved daughter Valerie, her son-in-law Joe Pulis, her granddaughters Yvette and her husband Viktor, and Lara and her boyfriend Kieth, her sister Lina and brother-in-law Ray, nieces and nephews all residing in Canada, her husband's family, cousins and friends in Malta. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's hospital tomorrow at 2 p.m. for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

Art For Charity
A group of artists have come together to offer their works for a worthy cause in an exhibition entitled Revelations which is being held at the Razzett L-Antik in Qormi until next Sunday. The exhibition was organised to raise funds for Youth Fellowship, a lay organisation within the Catholic Church.
The artists taking part are Charles Bonnici, Sue Mifsud, Veronica Attard, Carmel Bonello, Adrienne Bonnici, Fabio Borg, Gabriel Caruana, Illina Filipova, Anna Galea, Madeleine Gera, Frederick Gingel, Anna Grima, C.S. Lawrence, Pierre Mifsud, Gordon F. Miller, Norman Miller, Christine Pollacco, Clyde Spiteri, Michael Vassallo and Benny Brimmer.
The exhibition opens from 7.30 to 10.30 p.m. until Friday, on Saturday from 10.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7.30 to 10.30 p.m. and on Sunday from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Town Centre Closed
The Zejtun local council said that in view of the feast of St Catherine and the visit to the locality by delegates attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, the centre of Zejtun will be closed to traffic and no parking will be allowed there on Friday between 3 and 8 p.m. The streets concerned are 25th November Avenue, Republic Square, Carlo Diacono Square, Mater Boni Consigli Square, Gregorio Bonici Square and St Angelo, Holy Ghost, Immaculate Conception, St Catherine and St Lucian streets.
New Restaurant
Nan Yuan Cantonese Restaurant, established in Marsaxlokk for the past five years, has now opened a new outlet at the Valletta Waterfront. Situated at Vault 14, the restaurant said it aimed to retain the high standards established by Nan Yuan in providing quality food and service in a first class setting at reasonable prices.
Third Café
Café Jubilee has opened a new outlet at The Strand, Gzira, its third in a chain of outlets.
Jubilee first opened in Gozo in 1998 followed in 2000 by its Valletta operation. The chain is run by Alex, Anthony and Mario Scicluna.
Cat show seminar
The Malta Feline Guardian Club will be holding a preparatory seminar this weekend for all the exhibitors taking part in its December cat show.
The seminar will be held on November 27 at the Skyroom Penthouse, Preluna Hotel, Sliema at 3 p.m. in anticipation of the club's second cat show on December 4.
The club's vet, Adrian Vella, will give information on cats' health and exhibiting requirements. Club groomer Ruth Mizzi will dish out special hints of how to prepare the cat for the occasion to ensure it will be in its top show quality. MFGC president Kevin Charles Micallef will also give information about the cat show, which will be held at the Westin Dragonara Resort.
During the show those attending are in with a chance to win Lm80 worth of gifts every hour and two weekend breaks sponsored by the Preluna Hotel and Towers.

Sports Festival
The Malta University Sports Club is calling for volunteers to help it run a students' sports festival to be held for the first time at the Junior College, Msida on December 2.
All sports federations have been invited to show off their best at this festival and promote their sport.
The festival kicks off at 9 a.m. with the lighting of the Olympic torch.
