Anyone referring to people coming from overseas in Malta as "illegal immigrants" or "them" and the Maltese as "us" is wrong. People are people and so we should live together in harmony.

We came yesterday and they come today. There is no first-come, first-served basis. Anyone who does not agree with me is, as a fact, being a racist.

So, what if one person or thousands of people need to cross (with a great struggle) the river/sea to get to the other side to escape danger? There should be no fear of integration. Anyone who fears integration is thinking on the lines of Adolf Hitler.

I do not see why many people are reasoning as though we are beautiful Alsations and these people are chiwawas, when the Maltese are not a pure race in the first place; we are mostly half-breeds anyway. That's what makes our nation and our people so special after all.

Personally, I do not even believe in passports, I hate bureaucracy; people are people. Nobody is a criminal or illegal if nothing has been committed that we know of. Anyone can commit a crime like anyone can carry a disease no matter the race or nationality. If this is a Christian country therefore we must walk in the footsteps of Christ who said that men are all "equal in the eyes of God" and must be treated equally, no less.

We are not animals, we are human beings. For crying out loud, let's examine our conscience, our souls. Would it be equally a problem if all the Maltese living in Australia, Canada, North Europe and wherever (because they were welcomed there) suddenly decided to come back to Malta? I wonder if God will treat us the same as we are treating these people once we die?

A person who feels uncomfortable next to another person of a different race or colour is using animal instinct rather than human compassion and understanding. Needless, I add that human trafficking is sick.
