Jonathan Brincat was nominated by his colleagues at Maltanet as the most customer-oriented employee of the year. As part of Customer Service Week activities, Maltanet employees were asked to nominate one of their peers for the award, based on the person's best practice customer care approach.
This is the second time that Maltanet is giving this award and the fourth year it is celebrating Customer Care Week. Employees were also asked to forward practical suggestions aimed at improving customer focus.
This year Jonathan, an Internet technical support officer working in the technical operations team, obtained most nominations. He has been working with Maltanet for two years, starting as a customer care agent.
He later moved on to the technical operations team, providing second-level support. He was given this award in recognition of his commitment towards ensuring that Maltanet's customer care philosophy is practised every day.
"Maltanet considers its customer care approach as key to its service. All our employees are encouraged to practise a good customer care approach to both internal and external customers. Jonathan's attitude is an example to his colleagues and has contributed significantly to the success of the company," Maltanet's CEO Keith Fearne said.
