P. Cutajar & Co. Ltd has introduced a new brand to its portfolio, Cattier champagne.

The champagne is produced in the village of Chigny les Roses, near the city of Reims, where the Cattier family has been devoted to the culture of vineyards since 1763.

The Cattier concern remains an independent and family company of 18 people.

The product range includes a champagne classified Premier Cru. In over 300 villages in the Champagne area, fewer than 50 producers have this special classification, a spokesman for the Cattier family said.

Cattier produces and sells 800,000 bottles a year, half of which are exported in 60 countries worldwide. Cattier champagnes have won many awards for quality.
