Maltapost has issued the "close off" dates for posting Christmas mail to ensure delivery in time.

Parcels to all countries should be posted by not later than the last week in November (November 21-26).

Air mail to all countries should be mailed by not later than the first week in December (November 28 to December 3).

Cards, letters to local addresses are to be dispatched by not later than the second week in December (December 5 to 10).

Maltapost urged the public to mail early for Christmas and to avoid last-minute mailing.

Meanwhile, the Parcel Office and Customs Office have moved temporarily to Triq l-Iskultur in Qormi, on the opposite side of the road to the Maltapost head office, turning off just before the United Macaroni factory. Directional signs have been put up.
