Cultural tourism, Maltese language journalism awards 2005

John Manduca won the Cultural Tourism Award and Charles Camenzuli L-Ilsien Malti Fil-Gurnalizmu Award in this year's Malta Journalism Awards.

Mr Manduca was the founder editor of Treasures Of Malta, published by Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malta, until he retired in December 2004. He has published a number of books, the latest of which include The Bride Of Mosta and The Bonham Carter Diaries, as well as a number of guide books on Malta. In 2003 he won the Malta Journalism Gold Award.

Mr Camenzuli is a sports journalist with Media.link Communications Company Ltd.
