A 32-year-old man was yesterday jailed for three months after he admitted to breaking into a car.

Magistrate Michael Mallia heard Brooks Lia, of St Paul's Bay, plead guilty to stealing between Lm10 and Lm50 worth of items from the car of Roy Clifford Rylance on Saturday morning and relapsing.

Police Inspector Therese Sciberras prosecuted.

Lawyer Ian Farrugia appeared for Mr Lia.
