Thanks to the funding granted through the EUPU National Agency, Malta, I had the opportunity to participate in an in-service training course under the Grundtvig 3 Training 2004/2005 Offers, which was held in Komvux Norrkoping, Sweden, between October 10 and 14.

I was one of seven participants hailing from Malta, Lithuania, Slovenia, Cyprus, Greece, Crete and Spain for the course entitled 'Make your own pedagogical material for the Web'.

The course objectives were to get the participants to feel comfortable using the Internet as a working tool and a pedagogical tool, to know how to evaluate the content of specific Internet pages, how to design Websites using the appropriate tools, and to have a deeper understanding of how the media works. The course was divided into three main parts. The first was the preparation phase where the participants had to provide all the material related to their work. The next was attending lectures and workshops for five days in Komvux Norrkoping.

Finally we had to publish our own Website as designed individually on a Web space provided by the organisers. After the completion of the course an overall evaluation was carried out using an online questionnaire.

The final product was a compilation of a CD containing our Websites and the necessary software to work with.
