Demand for properties for sale and to let in the St Paul's Bay area has necessitated the enlargement of Frank Salt's local branch. The company has taken over adjacent commercial premises to accommodate more sales and letting consultants.
A number of consultants have been recruited, all of whom have undergone standard company training. The letting and property management division at the branch is now run by Caroline Cini who occupied a similar position for a number of years in the UK. The letting department has proved to be extremely successful with several investors buying apartments and renting them out, bringing in healthy returns.
The branch, which is managed by Margaret Daly, has become one of the company's busiest branches as a result of the extensive marketing that the company undertakes in overseas markets. Demand by locals, including first-time buyers is also quite high, as well as interest by buyers seeking a summer residence.
The opening of this extension coincides with Frank Salt Real Estate receiving a Bentley International Property Award in the Best Real Estate Agency In Malta 2005 category. The presentation was held this weekend at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel.
The company has other plans for growth in other locations, including the opening of the largest of the company branches on the Sliema promenade, consisting of 324 square metres of prime commercial premises, which should house the company sales and letting operations as well as its subsidiary company, Homes of Quality Ltd.
The company's managing director Joseph Lupi said the company believed the property industry would grow and should always remain healthy as long as its operators recognise it is a very sensitive market.
