The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anton Tabone will be heading a parliamentary delegation on an official visit to Luxembourg from tomorrow to Wednesday on the invitation of Lucien Weiler, President of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies.

Mr Tabone will hold meetings with the Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies of the Grand Duchy and with the Chamber's Committee of Foreign and European Affairs apart from meeting leading personalities including Jean-Claude Juncker, Prime Minister.

The aim of the visit is to strengthen structured dialogue with a view to identifying new avenues of cooperation both at the bilateral and multilateral level, the Speaker's office said.

Diplomatic relations between Malta and Luxembourg were established in 1969.
