Successful bazaar

The members of the Gozo section of the Mother's Union, from the Anglican Church, would like to express their thanks to the members of the public who supported their one-day bazaar in Victoria on October 31.

They are deeply grateful to Celine for allowing them the use of her shop and to the consideration given by the police for the loading and unloading of all the stock.

They are pleased to announce that an excess of Lm200 was raised and this money will be shared by the Lourdes Home and other charities supported by people living in Gozo.

Money will also be sent to support the Literacy Programme that is organised for African women by the Mother's Union in London. The Parenting Programme will also benefit from the sale.
