I would like to draw the attention of the director of the Joint Office or of Minister Tonio Borg to the fact that I applied to redeem the ground rent paid on my residence in Sliema (file number reference T2197/97, acknowledged on September 2, 1999) on August 6, 1999. There are other places which have already had their ground rent redeemed. A couple of years ago the government's architect had also made an on-site inspection. I am fed up of phoning and being sent from one place to another.

I was also wrote to the Land Department, who informed me they do not have any files there.

I hope this letter does not fall on deaf ears.
