...wardens' inaction

Why is it that wardens seem to turn a blind eye to blatant haphazard parking of cars when it concerns areas with parking attendants.

I refer particularly to the parking zone at the Strand in Sliema. The local council has allotted two spaces with ramps at each end of the two zebra crossings available at the Strand so that the disabled can cross safely with their wheelchairs. Not a chance. There is invariably a car parked on the double yellow lines blocking the two ramps.

The car park attendant selfishly uses these spaces to earn an extra buck with little regard to the inconvenience created to the disabled.

And the wardens? No action... it might offend the attendant!
