Made to feel at home

I would like to publicly congratulate and thank the staff at St Luke's Hospital, especially the Casualty Department and Orthopaedic Ward 2. The staff work under extreme pressure but they manage to make the patient feel at home even when in great pain.

I notice with great displeasure that many Maltese complain about the service and the lack of space. Many patients have to learn some manners and the right approach to nurses or any other staff member.

Work in the hospital is constant and never stops.

The whole staff is working round the clock. In August I was admitted and was taken care of immediately.

When I look back I realise how they managed to calm me down from the shock, even with some humour, to make me feel more at ease.

Thank you Casualty Department and Orthopaedic Ward 2.
