England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson recalled goalkeeper David James among four changes to his squad for the friendly against Argentina in Geneva on Saturday.

James and Tottenham midfielder Michael Carrick return after missing the World Cup qualifiers against Austria and Poland, and there were also call-ups for Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge and West Ham's Paul Konchesky.

Jonathan Woodgate is out after suffering an injury setback.
