Italian sportscar driver Thomas Biagi will test for Midland in Spain next month, the Formula One team said. Biagi, 29, won the FIA GT world championship in 2003 and is challenging for the title again this year with Maserati. Midland, formerly the Jordan team, still have a driver vacancy for next year after signing Dutchman Christijan Albers but Biagi is not seen as a contender for that drive.
