Following the intervention of the Gozo Business Chamber, the Malta Transport Authority has agreed that Gozitans whose vehicles were reported for emitting excessive exhaust fumes will not be required to travel to Malta to have their vehicle tested.

The MTA will be allocating a day for testing in Gozo.

Meanwhile, the Chamber has urged all vehicle owners to check their vehicles' emission levels to help create a cleaner environment.
