The Malta rugby national squad yesterday journeyed to Serbia and Montenegro ahead of their World Cup 2007 Group B match (third qualifying round) against the Balkan nation in Pancebo on Saturday.
National coach Damien Neill has been forced to make two changes to his travelling squad.
Oliver Sacco was ruled out of the match after suffering an injury during last weekend's 43-0 defeat to Germany at the Hibs Ground. Winger Nick Warren also misses out due to work commitments.
Steve Lyons and James Sinalson have been called as replacements by Neill who is hoping his team will bounce back from Saturday's comprehensive defeat to Germany.
Malta and Serbia are currently bottom of Group B with no points after losing their opening qualifier. Germany, Belgium and Croatia are leading the standings with one win apiece.
The squad: K. Mason, J. Ramage, I. Borda, T. Webb, H. Collins, L. Watts, D. St George, C. Vassallo, S. Kempster, G. Kennedy, S. Haycock, M. Whitney, J. Dimond, M. Mirabelli, R. Spiteri, D. Busuttil, J. Caruana, T. Watts, S. Micallef, J. Sinalson, S. Lyons, J. Sultana.
