'Budget of taxes'
The Labour Parliamentary Group described the budget as one that had no plan and which lacked a clear direction for the country's economy.
It was a budget based on an increase in taxation like previous budgets by this government. So much so that the government was projecting a Lm46 million increase in income from taxation.
The group said that if one added the tax on water and electricity consumption, the total tax burden would reach Lm70 million.
