The Malta Basketball Association yesterday announced that the 11th meeting of the FIBA Europe board will be held in Malta this month.

The MBA said the top executive board of FIBA Europe will meet between November 12 and 13 at the Radisson SAS Bay Point.

MBA president Antonio Mizzi said that this is yet another confirmation that his organisation is held in high esteem on the international scene.

"Top FIBA executive members have always shown respect to our country and to our game," said Magistrate Mizzi.

"This meeting means a lot of hard work for the MBA but this will only continue to encourage us to organise more similar meetings from which the local game can only benefit."
