The European Branch of the Commonwealth Association of Science, Technology and Mathematics Education (CASTME, Europe) is organising a workshop on Science Technology and Mathematics Education on November 21 within the Commonwealth People's Forum at the Mediterranean Conference Centre.
The workshop will discuss the challenges (health, economic, political, social) faced by science, technology and mathematics education across the world and how this is changing the way these subject areas are taught. The workshop also aims to share the work done by CASTME and its branches across the Commonwealth in networking people and promoting the sharing of expertise and examples of good practice.
Activities are being held between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and the workshop is free of charge and open to all educators, teachers and policy makers interested in science, technology and mathematics education. To participate in the workshop contact Dr Suzanne Gatt by e-mail on suzanne.gatt@um.edu.mt or by phone on 2340-2926 from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday to Friday.
