Web traffic back to normal

Internet Traffic is back to normal after some international links connecting Malta developed a fault for a few hours on Thursday, DataStream Limited said.

As a result of problems in Italy, there were periods in which Web browsers complained of slow speeds. DataStream and engineers in Italy worked round the clock until links were fully restored.

Meanwhile, the company is taking all necessary steps to ensure that such faults have little or no impact on customers should they happen again, a DataStream statement said.
