Home loan applications will be decided within 48 hours or one working day from the time customers bring in the required documentation, HSBC said.

This promise covers the issue of the loan approval letter within one working day of the loan decision, the appointment for the deed of the loan and payments to suppliers or contractors.

If the bank fails to meet any of the commitments given through the home loans promise, HSBC said it will pay the customer Lm10.
