Programming on cable channels

Has anyone noticed what a joke Melita Digital/Cable has become? Programmes are repeated all the time on UK Living, Paramount, Bravo and now even Discovery. I was (until three weeks ago) an avid follower of American Chopper (11 p.m. Channel 450).

Has anyone noticed what a joke Melita Digital/Cable has become? Programmes are repeated all the time on UK Living, Paramount, Bravo and now even Discovery.

I was (until three weeks ago) an avid follower of American Chopper (11 p.m. Channel 450). Imagine my disappointment when, after advertising the "new" series repeatedly for many weeks I tuned in to find it was the old series starting again. I rang Melita Cable to complain only to be told that they have no control over the programming. Why am I paying them at all, I ask myself, as I put my hand in my pocket to pay the October bill for programmes I watched in July.

Incidentally I hired the first series of Desperate Housewives ("only on Melita movies") from the local DVD shop for Lm1.50 six months ago. What a joke - maybe I won't put my hand in my pocket again after this month.
