Internet use by children

The use of the internet by children was the subject of a study carried out by the National Statistics Office.

The NSO was interested in establishing the proportion of children who use the internet, the places and type of access, frequency of use, supervision and the reasons why they use the internet.

Another survey was carried out among parents to investigate their perceptions on the use of the internet by their children.

The results of the surveys will be presented during a seminar at the Vassalli Hall of the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta on Thursday at 9 a.m.
