Underwater clean-up
HSBC staff collecting part of a wrecked boat during the seabed clean-up at St Paul`s Bay
The HSBC Cares for the Environment Fund has organised an underwater clean-up at St Paul's Bay in the area beneath the Wignacourt Tower.
Bank staff who are qualified divers collected glass and plastic bottles, plastic bags, the wreckage of a small boat and other debris from the seabed.
After the clean-up, other members of staff ventured out on'taster dives' to explore and appreciate the beauty of the underwater world.
This event was supported by the Malta Marine Foundation through its members, namely Subway, Diveshack and Scubatech.
