Eyre Cargo Services, a subsidiary of Express Trailers Limited of Qormi, has been awarded the Lufthansa Cargo Bronze Award for their achievement in hitting record freight sales last year.

Eyre Cargo Services managing director Jonathan Vella, operations manager Jesmond Mifsud, along with their team, managed to attract new business for Lufthansa with two prominent clients in the tuna business exporting over 350 tons of fresh fish to the Japanese market.

Thilo Schafer, Lufthansa Cargo general sales manager for Italy and Malta, and Anthony Mifsud, regional manager sales and logistics for Malta, presented the award to Eyre Cargo personnel at Villa Arrigo in Naxxar.
