The celebration of Halloween should be avoided, the Occult and Satanism Diocesan Commission has said.

Labelling the commemoration as a feast of pagan origins, the commission said the occult world was linked to it. These traditions were not in line with Christian beliefs.

The commission said that on November 1, Christians were expected to celebrate the feast of all saints and on November 2, the feast of the dead.

On these two days, one should celebrate one's faith and on the example of saints, understand that for Christians, the real happiness was in a real and true relation of friendship with Jesus Christ.
