The first series of fixed-rate deposit accounts in US dollars, euro and pound sterling has been launched by FIMBank.

The classic term deposit account offers 100 per cent capital security and fixed interest rates, the bank said. The minimum deposit is $100,000. A second product is the money market linked (MML) term deposit with the term being one year only.
