The Malta European Consumer Centre was officially opened on Tuesday.

The centre, in Old Mint Street, Valletta, forms part of the EU network that informs citizens of their rights as consumers and assists them in problems met when shopping across borders.

It will assist Maltese consumers having problems with traders in other countries, and will help people outside Malta should they find difficulties with Maltese traders.
