The board of directors of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc has approved a number of senior management appointments within the Farsons Group.

The senior managers have also been appointed members of the group executive board.

Ray Grech has been appointed chief marketing officer. Mr Grech will be responsible for the marketing and selling of Farsons products, Wands Ltd, Anthony Caruana & Sons Ltd and Guido Vella Ltd as well as exports. He joined the Farsons Group in 1982.

Charles Xuereb has been appointed chief financial officer of the group. Mr Xuereb joined Farsons Group in 1995.

Norman Aquilina, managing director of Quintano Foods Ltd, has also been given the responsibility for Vita Sana srl and Eco Pure Premium Water Co Ltd.

On the group executive board the three officials will be joining chief operations officer Paul Micallef and group human resources manager Arthur Muscat.
