The wonders of north African Morocco await the lucky winner of The Times word game series starting today.
Albertours will take the winner on its Morocco tour between November 23-30, a country steeped in history, rich in tradition and dotted with dramatic landscapes.
The tour, which is based in Casablanca, provides the option of a day visit to the Imperial city of Marrakech, founded by the first Almohad sovereign.
It legitimately boasts of the sumptuous relics of its glorious past - palaces, tombs, gardens and minarets compete with each other.
Within the Medina lies the imperial heritage of Marrakech and wandering around the overflowing souks is like travelling back in time.
The city's main square Djeema El Fna comes to life at night with open air theatres, magicians, snake charmers and a vast array of food to tantalise the senses.
Another optional excursion is to the peaceful coastal town of Essaouira, a gem with an extraordinary mixture of architectural styles, arts and crafts and white and blue houses.
The winner will also have the opportunity to visit Ouarzazate, for an opportunity to glimpse at Morocco's mysterious south - the land of oasis and kasbahs.
The final optional tour is to the royal city of Rabat, the country's political capital. Rabat is a garden city with wide tree-lined boulevards, flowers, gardens, plenty of wide open spaces, embassies and monuments.
To complement the holiday, the winner will also get an Airport Value Lm50 shopping voucher to be spent in any retail outlet at Malta International Airport's departure lounge and a year's subscription in the Malta Scrabble Club.
The winner of the series which ended last Saturday will be drawn at the Maltco Offices on Monday.
The six nine-letter words were showpiece, harmonium, tragedian, reflexive, manhandle and palpitate.
