If what the Croatian security expert said is true (September 10), then it means that the Croatia delegation knew they had brought hooligans with them.

This makes it much worse than what it seemed at first, something that occurred on the spur of the moment. The Croatian Football Federation is therefore much more responsible for the fracas, having known full well that these elements could create trouble.

The federation security official said he recommended a strong police presence! Since they knew these trouble makers, why did they bring them over in the first place?

If they could not control these elements in Croatia, why should they expect that our police would control them?

All this would not have happened if the hooligans were simply denied access to the ground, tickets and/or passports.
