Malta's U-20 squad for Portugal tournament

Malta U-20 football coach Mark Miller yesterday named an 18-man squad who this week will take part in the inaugural International Tournament in Viseu, Portugal.

Miller's team, which is composed mostly of players from the Malta U-19 selection, opens its commitments in the four-team tournament on Tuesday when they face Ukraine. Their second match is scheduled for Thursday when they play against either Portugal or Poland.

Defenders: E. Agius (Hibs), S. Bezzina (Valletta), B. Bonnici (Valletta), J. Caruana (Hibs), C. Gatt Baldacchino (Sliema W.).

Midfielders: A. Agius (Messina), M. Bartolo (Mosta), C. Failla (Hibs), D. Falzon (Mosta), J. Pearson (Hibs), D. Pisani (Floriana), J. Sammut Vasquez (Birkirkara), J. Vassallo (Melita).

Strikers: A. Buhagiar (Floriana), A. Vassallo (Birkirkara), D. Zarb (Valletta).
