Maltapost service (2)

Recently fixed notices on letterboxes indicate that collection times are 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

However, these times are rarely, if ever, kept.

Very frequently I see Maltapost employees collecting mail much earlier than 11 a.m., and when I once asked if the collection times had changed, the employee replied that they had not.

He told me that he happened to drive past and stopped to collect the mail. On that particular day he didn't even have a bag to put the letters in and just piled them on to the seat next to the driver's. I find this very unprofessional and a disservice to customers.

I understand that it is not possible to collect all the mail at a specific time. At least collection time could be later and not earlier than the indicated time.
