Three sister cruise liners will be sailing into the Grand Harbour within a span of 24 hours, bringing with them over 4,000 tourists.
The liners - Aida Cara, Aida Vita and Aida Aura - will be sailing in between Monday and Tuesday and are all chartered by a leading German organisation.
Owned and operated by Aida Cruises of Rostock, the three cruise liners are regular and frequent callers to Malta. Aida Cruises, part of Carnival Cruises, are currently building another two cruise liners which are expected to be delivered in 2007 and 2008.
It is unusual for the three cruise liners to be in Malta simultaneously and to mark this occasion the port agents in Malta - SMS Shipping - will be presenting a painting of the three vessels' visit to the island to each ship master and another to the ship owning company.
