Coal mine blast

A methane blast at a coal mine in southern Siberia killed three people and injured seven, Russian media reported yesterday.

The blast ripped through the mine at Anzhero-Sudzhensk, a town in the Kemerovo region, late on Thursday, the Interfax news agency reported.
