Members of the planning team of the Commonwealth Youth Forum are meeting in Malta this week to discuss logistical issues and finalise the forum's programme.

The forum will be hosted in Malta between November 16 and 23.

Now in its fifth edition, it has established itself as one of the major meetings held in conjunction with the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

It is being hosted by the Youth Ministry in partnership with the Commonwealth Youth Programme of the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Commonwealth Youth Exchange Council and the National Youth Council.

Delegates aged between 18 and 25 from across the Commonwealth are staying at the Suncrest Hotel in Qawra together with a 30-strong Maltese delegation.

The forum will produce a communiqué which will be presented to the Prime Minister and the secretary general of the Commonwealth.

Heads of government attending the CHOGM will also have a copy of the communiqué.
