We lost a mother with a heart of gold
Who was more to us than wealth untold
She fell asleep with no time to say goodbye
And so many times
We have asked to question - why?
If she had spoken before she died
These are the words she would have replied
'This life for me has truly passed
I've loved you to the very last
Weep not for me but courage take
And love each other
For my sake'.
Forever in our hearts. Lina, Joe, Nathalie, Marthese, Marianne and spouses.
VASSALLO - MARIA. To nanna.
God walked in His garden
Plucking flowers along the way
He plucked one so dear to us
To add to his bouquet.
Our hearts were broken
We didn't want you to go
But the Lord said He needed you
To form part of his bouquet
So we'll try our best
To be loving and kind each day
So one day nanna, we'll be counted worthy
To be part of that lovely master's bouquet.
Love you always nanna. Claire, Joanna, Kevin, Louise, Jackie, Laura, Joseph, Hannah, Tara, Francesca, Ben and great-grandchildren Xikira and Yannick.
