Try Dive for a good reason

The Malta Marine Foundation will be holding a fund raising campaign on Thursday in support of the marine environmental projects it is undertaking.

The activity - Try Dive - is for persons aged over 12 who wish to try scuba diving for their first time for one third of the normal price - just a Lm4 donation.

The Try Dive will take place at the Exiles Sliema (weather permitting) between 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A follow up activity, also to be held by the MMF, will be held on September 21 at the IMAX Theatre.

This is also a fund raising activity for the same aims and objectives of the MMF.

The programme includes a documentary entitled Malta's Heritage of The Deep which will show exclusive underwater footage from WW1 shipwrecks found off Malta.

The tickets are available from leading dive shops at the price of Lm3.50.
