The eurozone industrial producer price index rose by 0.5 per cent in July compared with the previous month, Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Communities, said yesterday.

In July last year, EU25 prices also grew by 0.5 per cent. In June this year prices again rose by 0.5 per cent in both the eurozone and the EU25.

Comparing this July to July 2004, industrial producer prices grew by four per cent in the eurozone and by five per cent in the EU25.
