Gesti, composed by Charles Camilleri, was premiered by Maltese harpist Anne Marie Camilleri Podestà at the Ninth World Harp Congress in Dublin.

The piece was composed specifically for the congress.

The execution of Gesti formed part of an artistic programme which included harp music from all parts of the world, performed by the world's leading concert harpists.

Ms Camilleri Podestà started her harp studies under the tuition of Donata Mattei and has obtained the Licentiate of the London College of Music in piano and the Licentiate of the Royal School of Music in harp.
