The European Commission's website against discrimination has been given a complete revamp and has been officially re-launched.

The new site has been made more user-friendly and easy to navigate.

It covers one's rights as an EU citizen, the Community Action Programme, events all around the EU and easy access to over 1,000 documents including reports, surveys, press releases, photos and films to download.

The Maltese section of the website carries details of past and future events in Malta together with information on the national working group that represents employers and employees, non-governmental organisations, the Ministry for the Family and Social Solidarity and the Ministry of Education and Employment.

Malta has a total of 18 organisations involved that meet to discuss strategies and activities.

Media Consulta in Malta is the competence centre for web programming for the entire Media Consulta network and the re-launch of the stop discrimination website including concept, programming, content uploading and translation into the 20 official EU languages was handled by the Malta office.
