Used forged passport

A Nigerian girl was yesterday given a one-year jail term suspended for a year for making use of a forged passport.

Magistrate Giovanni Grixti heard the 17-year-old plead guilty to making use of the passport and making a false declaration to the immigration authorities on and before Sunday.

Police Inspector Mario Haber prosecuted.
