Can Adrian Bajada (No New Taxes, August 12) give just one reason why host families should not pay their present and past taxes as everyone else does?

Can he tell us in which country tax dodgers expect the government to waive their payments instead of prosecuting them? Thank God that we have a lenient and spineless government. They should have been prosecuted long ago.
