Top-up lottery

Customers who make use of the BOV mobile top-up service will automatically take part in a new lottery giving them the possibility of winning back their money, Bank of Valletta said yesterday.

The service is available for both Go Mobile and Vodafone and not just in Malta but in all countries where the customer's mobile service provider has roaming arrangements.

Topping up the phone involves sending an SMS to 50611905 for an Lm5 top-up, 50611910 for a Lm10 top-up or 50611920 for a Lm20 top-up (Vodafone subscribers only).

The lottery will run up to October 31. Subscribers to the service will automatically have a stake in the lottery for every top-up made during the lottery period. There will be two lottery draws, the first at the end of September and the second in the first week of November. For each draw, 10 winners will get the equivalent of their top-up amount back. To register for the top-up service customers may visit any BOV branch in Malta and Gozo or apply through internet banking. The service is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
