Midsummer lunacy

Santa Marija week, and the traffic into Victoria is backed up as far as the traffic lights at Xewkija to facilitate the parking (!) and progress of heavy lorries which need to reverse into the Duke of Edinburgh construction site.

How reassuring to know that the Malta Environment and Planning (sic) Authority has everything under control!

Apparently some readers think the situation in Gozo this summer should not be described as "madness". How about stark raving lunacy?
