Sta Venera and Hamrun HSBC branches have topped the bank's first customer service surveys.

The Birkirkara branch won the award for the best area.

The awards were presented to the branch managers and area director by HSBC's chief operating officer Martin J. Wilkins.

The awards, based on feedback from HSBC customers, are divided into two categories depending on the size and volume of business carried out at the particular branch.
