Labour leader Alfred Sant and deputy leader Michael Falzon, who are visiting Australia, left Sydney yesterday for Melbourne.

On their last day in Sydney last Saturday, the two were hosted on a Maltese language programme on SBS radio.

Later in the day, Dr Sant and Dr Falzon paid a visit to St Dominic's village in Blacktown, Sydney, where Dominican nuns run a home for the elderly hosting 50 people, 35 of them Maltese.

Before leaving for Melbourne, the Labour delegation visited the La Vallette social centre, also in Blacktown, where they met about 300 Maltese and Gozitan expatriates.
