Youth programme proving attractive and beneficial

The National Youth Council said an increasing number of youth organisations were making use of and benefiting from the Youth Programme in Malta.

It encouraged youth groups to reap the benefits of EU-funded programmes in order to implement their projects.

The council highlighted the important role of the EU Programmes Unit within the Ministry of Education, Youth and Employment in reaching out to more organisations and in offering more services in order to ensure the high quality of the projects submitted by applicant organisations.

It called on the unit to continue working in collaboration with youth organizations and urged the authority responsible for such programmes to improve the funds allocated to Malta, even within the context of Euro-Mediterranean collaboration.
